KLANA TOPENG

Klana is The Big Figure of Wanderer and Topeng is mask. So Klana Topeng is a dance with a mask (usually red mask). This dancing is personification of Prabu Klana Sewandana who has falling in love to Dewi Sekartaji. There is a specific movement in this dance, it’s called Sepak Wiron (kick Cloth) and Ogek Lambung (movement of waist). The dancer has freedom to express the mask to be dynamic and the mask look like life.
